HAEFA Medical Teams and the Rohingya Refugees

In February 2018, the Office of Global Engagement highlighted the work of Dr. Ruhul Abid, Associate Professor of Surgery at the Brown University Warren Alpert Medical School, in a piece entitled "Brown Faculty travel to Rohingya Refugee Camps"

Working with Health and Education for All (HAEFA), Dr. Abid has embarked on projects to provide free healthcare and to create a digital platform for documenting and tracking the health of the Rohingya refugees.
